String Technique Sessions

General Information

Sessions on technique for amateur players of orchestral stringed instruments (violin, viola, 'cello, double bass), with specialist teachers led by Peter Fender.

The groups are small to allow personal advice and assistance to be given (so book early!). Some work will be done en masse and some will involve individual coaching.  The environment will be positive and encouraging - you will not be asked to play on your own to the group!

Emphasis will be on fundamental techniques, with more advanced techniques being introduced as appropriate to the individual.  Advice and suggestions for how to continue to work on your technique will be given.

The cost is £25 per person.

If you can't make the dates given please register your interest and you will be informed when further dates are arranged.

Please note that in the unlikely event that the session is cancelled your money will be re-imbursed.  There is no refund, however, if you cancel, with the exception of illness supported by a doctor's note.
