New conducting course types and dates added

In addition to the existing one-day workshops and the weekend workshops Peter has now added study days and courses for non-musicians.

A study day is a day spent working through a specific piece of music (Mahler 3 and Beethoven 9 are the first two). It will be an in-depth look at what a conductor needs to do in order to prepare to conduct the piece in question. The 'Introduction to conducting' for non-musicians looks into how a conductor gets out of an orchestra what he or she wants, without assuming any musical expertise or knowledge.

As well as these new types of course new dates have been added for all course types. See the Courses page for full information.
