Smartphones welcome at this concert!

The next Six Centuries Chamber Choir concert will be on Friday 27 November in St James's Church, Piccadilly, London.  There will be choral music, instrumental music (for violin, cello, piano), and poetry focusing on the time of Christmas and winter. Poet Natasha Moskovici will read a selection of fine seasonal poetry from across the centuries.

Something really unusal about this concert is that you will be encouraged to leave your phone switched on and even to activate an app during the performance!  This will be during the première of Peter's 'Blow, blow, thou winter wind'.  If you have a smartphone with you then you can download an app with which you will contribute sounds which are an integral part of the music. Eric Whitacre used this idea in his piece 'Deep Field' at the Proms recently. A great idea, which Peter is looking to push it a bit further ...
